Taking a sneak peek into a stunning eclectic loft in on Mercer Street, in the heart of New York is really fun. David Howell Design yet again creates a space that owns different quality from others. There is a fusion feel in the house that creates strangely magical moments. It is an attraction in popular entertainment district.
The loft is flooded nicely with natural light from the sun. It is decently bright and quite nice. The feels is also airy since the partial height wall-featured serves a double purpose. It is meant for obtaining adequate amount of light and creating a subtle but distinct transition from public to private.
It has historical substance as well as modern elements that both blend nicely. Some original designs are kept and it is not apologetic at all in being imperfect. The space features tin ceilings, stripped cast iron columns, original floors and window casings in the house. For entertainment, the house is set to be highly eclectic. And that is the charm of it that shouts louder to boast. The dweller includes some found objects and art to adorn.
Actually, in creating the space, collaboration was made involving several artists to achieve perfect and desired final look and state. You may find some unique and creative stuff also that makes it looking beautiful and bloody cool. See some more details from these images here.
