For this very opportunity, we would like to introduce one of talented home designers, Kimberly Grigg and her works that inspire many to get the best situation at home. She is a Myrtle Beach, S.C.-based interior designer who also owns Knotting Hill Interiors.
She is known for her efforts in renovating and redecorating homes in the South, and beyond. We like to suggest that, really, it is not a waste of time, really, to take some time and see how things should be done from her point of view since they are all shared for the better.
As a mother, wife and designer, she is known to be quite sensible with her own place and her adoration for her own heritage as a southerner bring to life some incredible interior décor like never before. She believes that a house should be welcoming yet personal and it has to function the way it should be.
- The first idea is Welcoming Wall Murals. Inherently inspired by the concept of DeGournay Wallpaper, she likes to have this beautiful wall art on her walls which will remind her of a special moment of her life and also has a certain attraction that will invite people in more amiable way.
- The next one is about Treasured Family Heirlooms. Instead of adorning spaces for others to see, for the family, there is a need to keep things aesthetically entertaining in more personal and private places in the house. Kimberly does what others hardly do. She adds velvet for paneling decoration, placing numerous porcelain jars on the side board, installing more chandeliers and giving unique accents on everything existed there.
- For visitors, the living space is managed to be in its most inviting and welcoming state and bring joyful vibes as much as possible to keep family gatherings in a positive atmosphere. She demands a place with absolute comfort and great deal of coziness. The choice of turquoise blue Murano chandeliers is rocking. There is a mix of traditional and contemporary stuff and things there that are whimsically managed in a rather quaint way but look fine when you accustomed to it.
- The last one is accommodating kitchen spaces. This space is probably the one with most pops of colors that shine with little bit playful and fun traits inside. She considers it a holy place of the family and its importance may exceed the others seen from its pivotal functions. For a big family like hers, utilitarian kitchen is a compulsory. Since they like to have parties and celebrate some special occasion there accompanied with delicacies and stuff. She also confessed that it has to be nothing but comfy where family can have a tea time there or chat about the stories of their days. It is influenced by European Chateau feel, yet it is still able to maintain its Southern touches.
You may see from the images how things are really done there and come to know that this one is a stunner all the way with its grand look. The designer herself combines and mixes stuff very nicely so that things look so beautiful and the house is a merrier place for the family and others as well.
